General settings  Keyboard shortcut in the slideshow G

The General tab in the Settings window has the following options:

Saving images: Choose here the folder where will go the images you capture, either in the same folder where is the original image or in a specific folder. (The idea is that you can choose if the images you capture with the program will go side by side in the same folder where are the original or store all these captured images in a specific folder apart from the originals. In any case at the time of capturing an image you will be able to set a different location)

Open folder after save: When you save an image with this option checked the program will open the folder you choose in Windows Explorer.

Suffix in saved images: The files of the images saved will have the same name of the original image and the program will append the suffix you choose here (necessary if you choose to save the images in the same location as the originals otherwise the original would be overwritten). That suffix can be changed when saving the actual image. Saving all the images produced by the program with a constant suffix will be of use later either to find these images, to recognize them and to differentiate them from the originals.

Editing images: What program to invoke when using the options that edit an image file. The first option will use the default program per the configurations of Windows. Or you can choose a specific program.

(The following options appear when in the SlideShow)

Do not show progress bar when loading images: When the slideshow has no images ready to show it displays a progress bar in the screen showing the status of the process. This options disables that, the screen will be black until the image is loaded.

Show program's signature: Uncheck to remove the web address of the program shown at the bottom of the screen during the slide-show. (This can be done only with the licensed program)

Stop screensaver on mouse motion: That's the usual behavior if the program runs as a screensaver but if you want to make sure that slight vibrations will not stop the display uncheck this one (it affects only if the program runs as a screensaver)

Run in a window: The slideshow can run either using the whole screen or a regular window, this option allows controlling in which mode it will start. It has no effect in the screensaver. (While the program is running, holding down the Alt key and double clicking the mouse will switch between Full-screen and windowed mode)

Use current resolution. When not checked you can select a resolution different than the resolution active at the time the program starts. If the animations are sluggish or there is too much delay when loading the images decreasing the resolution will relieve the needs for processing thus speeding the program.
